The story of our company began 5 years ago when our president Florentina Culiac RN, MN had a question: why was it so hard to know upfront if the Boarding Home or Adult Family Home that I could put my parents in was in fact a good fit for us?

Northwest Caregivers, Inc does not own or operate Boarding Homes or Adult Family Homes, nor it is in any way affiliated with an owner, operator or industry organization.

After all, we have great tools at our disposal to research and make an informed decision when it comes to choosing a hotel for a two weeks vacation. Why can't we have the same type of data when it comes to a Boarding Home or an Adult Family Home? Do they take new residents? Do they have values that are close to ours? What do others think of the facility?

Historically, clients rely heavily on referral services to recommend an institution. We believe that these services are very valuable to the process of selecting the right institution, and that most of the time their selection is the right one for the client.

We believe that the clients should be able to do their own research of potential providers, and form their own opinion about any given provider. Based on the research, the clients would have the option to work with the facility directly, or to contact a referral service to secure admission in the chosen facility. We recommend working with a referral service, since the service is free to clients, but the choice should be yours.
